Raja Ji National Park :One of the biggest park in north India situated at the meeting point of Himalayan foothills & Indo Gangetic plains, the venue for migratory birds from world over . The core zone & one of the main gates of the of national park is Chilla. Chilla is 17 kms from Rishikesh on the east western side .

One take the Jungle road and drive to Chilla.
The park is open from 15th November till 15th June of every year.

Skiing in the shadows of Mt. Nanda Devi
Auli is  8-9 hrs drive from Rishikesh. The scenic drive along the Ganga takes us to Devprayag, the ancient town at the beginning of the holy Ganga. We further drive along the Alalkandna to Joshimath and Auli passing through the famous confluence town of  Rudraprayag and Karanprayag. Auli is one of the best Ski slopes in asia with many high peaks such as Nanda Devi surrounding the slopes.

Skiing at Auli starts with the First snow fall which generally comes end of December or early January and lasts till end March or some time little longer
